Valhalla's partner for destination training is Captain Don's Habitat on the Dutch island of Bonaire.  Bonaire is one of the worlds premiere diving locations with ideal conditions for training our adaptive dive students.

Captain Don's has a long history of supporting disabled veteran divers. Jack Chalk, former General Manager of the resort, dive industry professional, and Army veteran, was a staunch advocate for veterans and understood the healing power of diving. Though Jack passed away January 16th, 2014- his legacy of compassion  and dedication toward veterans lives on at Captain Don's and Valhalla Dive Group is honored to have their support.

Destination training is an annual event that makes dive training a possibility for dive students living with serious physical issues. Bonaire's dependable climate and favorable water conditions allow divers living with seerious trauma- amputations, paraplegia, quadriplegia, etc- with a diving environment allowing them maximum autonomy and ease in training.
